Beauty Redefined Permanent Cosmetic Training Center employ SPCP Board Certified Trainers and Technicians. Beauty Redefined Med Spa is also registered as a Tennessee State Medical Spa and all services have Physician based oversight.

Safety is our number one concern and then a commitment to give you, the student the best education in permanent cosmetics applications available. We feel it is imperative that we commit to sharing the most thorough theoretical foundation coupled with one on one hands on training. We want to help you get started with this new career that allows you to set your own hours, make your own money and most importantly, be your own boss!

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING AT BEAUTY REDEFINED PERMANENT COSMETIC TRAINING CENTER?

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

  • For a beginner, a 100 hour (one hundred) fundamental training program is required in order to receive the proper certification in order for you to be able to purchase the insurance needed for permanent makeup tattooing, to purchase professional products, tools, etc., to gain access to advanced/continuing education classes and any professional associations and their conferences/conventions such as the SPCP or AAM.
  • Most states require a state tattoo establishment license which is regularly inspected by the local department of health and the trainer(s) must have a Tennessee tattoo license.
  • Tennessee students only: Copy of Apprenticeship License (unless the state in which you live requires one also). The state of Tennessee requires a one year’s apprenticeship in addition to the 100 hour fundamental training as set forth by the SPCP and/or AAM. BRPCTC has mandated the number of procedures for area of applications and is detailed in the General Terms and Agreement forms.
  • All students are required to take a Blood Borne Pathogens Class and Test and receive a Certificate of proof. If you are a Tennessee student: then you will need to call your local county Environmental Health Services Inspector to find out the next date for the next BBP Class. If you are outside the state of Tennessee, an online class is sufficient (unless your state has mandated a specific BBP class).   • A copy of your Hep B shot record or you may sign a “Letter of Declaration of Declination of hepatitis B vaccination.
  • Copy of Driver’s License or other government ID.
  • Fill out our General Terms Contractual Conduct Agreement and a Financial Contract and pay the applicable fees.

QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF WHEN SIGNING UP

  • Is this trainer Board Certified thru the SPCP (or the AAM) and do they actively keep their credentials updated; CPCP?
  • Am I learning ALL the basic applications in this training?
  • Is this school registered with the state?
  • Does this training school maintain a physically clean and strict asepsis program?
  • Does this training school buy pigments from a reputable supplier in accordance with the SPCP Pigment Guidelines?
  • Does this training school have a 100 hour class with hands on experience on live models?
  • Will I be able to apply permanent makeup on live models with my trainer present and be able to perform them on my own when I leave the training center?
  • Does my trainer have at least five years’ experience as a permanent cosmetic artist?
  • Will my trainer be available for ongoing assistance after I leave my training?
  • Have I contacted my state regulations and requirements for Permanent Cosmetic Tattooing? (Visit the SPCP.org for your states regulations.)
  • Does this facility provide guidance to obtain proper insurance for PMU applications.

  • We have several different training class packages varying from a beginner student package of full permanent cosmetic applications to the advanced students.

  • For all fundamental/basic courses the SPCP Manual and Student Handbook will be provided upon registration and applicable payment of fees in full
  • All lunches, snacks and drinks will be provided during the designated class times. Days will be long and intense so eat a good breakfast.

TENNESSEE ONE YEAR APPRENTICESHIP FOR PERMANENT COSMETIC APPLICATIONS

This is for Tennessee student residents only

This class is designed for the student who has already been through the national guideline of 100 hours of Permanent Cosmetics Fundamental/Basic Course and this class is only for the Tennessee practicing student only! During this class each student will continue the fundamentals/basic course hands on education with an apprenticeship by attending the training location monthly on scheduled/designated days for one on one trainer oversight of continued gratiquing of PMU applications. The basic fundamental permanent cosmetic applications of eyeliner, eyebrows, and includes microblading!

  • This course will allow the working student or mother with children to continue with their daily functions without having to make a lot of change in their regular routine during the course of the years’ apprenticeship. Student is required to attend at least two days per month for a year and dates are to coincide with trainer designated dates.
  • If you have had a class that did not provide you with the SPCP Manual and Student Handbook then you many purchase a set on first day of class.

FUNDAMENTAL/BASIC COURSE

Microblading Eyebrows and Shading

This class is designed for the student who desires to only do brows and to do the fundamental basic training course specializing only in brows. Eyebrows can actually be up to 90% of your business!

  • 100 hours is the national requirement guideline, 35 hours of this is pre-class home study
  • 5 days of consecutive classroom lecture and hands on training, plus 2 days student/trainer individual return to further gain knowledge and experience. Scheduled days convenient for both the trainer and student for this apprenticeship.
  • Class includes models (if local within 50 mi radius, student provides models)
  • Student may return on a scheduled day convenient for both the trainer and student to apprentice with the trainer for one year at no additional charge to gain more knowledge and experience.
  • Small class setting of no more than six - eight students in each class.
  • Student Microblading Starter/Training Kit - We supply everything during training; pigments, numbing agents, microblades & hand tools, measuring tapes, markers, practice tools, plus more.
  • You will learn 3 eyebrow patterns/styles techniques for the 3D MICROBLADING method, often called microstroking, feathering, hair strokes and also how to do the hand method of the powder/stippling effect behind those hair strokes.
  • Upon proficient and satisfactory skills in this class you will receive an official certificate to begin your new career!
  • Your will receive the SPCP Manual and Student Handbook.
  • Guidance in obtaining proper insurance for PMU applications.

FULL FUNDAMENTAL/BASIC COURSE

Tattoo Eyeliner, Eyebrows and Microblading Permanent Makeup Training

This class is designed for the student who wishes to do ALL the basic fundamental permanent cosmetic applications of eyeliner, eyebrows, lips, and yes, this class also includes microblading!

  • 100 hours is the national requirement guideline, 35 hours of this is pre-class home study
  • 6-8 days of classroom lecture and hands on training
  • Class includes models (if local within 50 mi radius, student provides models)
  • Student may return on a scheduled day convenient for both the trainer and student to apprentice with the trainer for one year at no additional charge to gain more knowledge and experience.
  • Small class setting of no more than six – eight students in each class.
  • Student Microblading Starter/Training Kit - We supply everything during training; pigments, numbing agents, microblades & hand tools, measuring tapes, markers, plus more.
